In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our three core product lines: electro-mechanical actuators, micro gas turbine engines, and power systems tailored specifically for the aerospace and defense industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for sales, and a deep understanding of aerospace technologies. Sales Engineer Your Roles/Responsibilities: * Lead the preparation of technical proposals, cost breakdowns, quotations, budget estimates, cover letters, compliance matrices, and other customer-requested documentation * Engage with both existing and new customers to promote Aerospace Component Division products, driving revenue growth, managing commercial and technical risks, and achieving financial goals * Track open opportunities, assessing order timing, budget, and the likelihood of successful closure * Transfer orders to Engineering, Project, and Program Management teams, ensuring clear communication of customer requirements * Create and update product presentations, datasheets, technical notes, quotation templates, and standard budgets to aid in sales, marketing, and product development efforts * Prepare and deliver technical presentations to current and prospective customers, effectively explaining products and services * Diagnose issues with installed equipment and collaborate with engineering to identify and implement solutions that meet customer needs * Develop sales strategies to introduce products to new markets and customers * Manage and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems to support sales operations * Host kick-off meetings for proposals and purchase order contracts Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills: * Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university, preferred * At least two years of sales experience in the aerospace components industry preferred * A combination of experience and education will be considered We Offer: * Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401k match * Company-paid holidays and Paid-Leave Time * 9/80 schedule * About Acutronic:* The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.
