• Our client is a leading provider of premium microbial enzymes, serving the Dietary Supplement, Food, Industrial, Regenerative Medicine, and Diagnostic industries. They 're currently looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Technical Sales Representative to join their growing team! This is an exciting opportunity for recent science graduates who are eager to kickstart a career in sales and gain valuable professional experience in a cutting-edge, science-driven environment! Location : Elgin, IL Shift : M-F Normal business hours Pay: $30-$40/hr DOE

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and maintaining the company's sales with focus on developing new business through professional sales techniques and quality customer service.
• Maintain quality relations with the already assigned accounts with most of the focus on maintaining existing business by performing the following duties.
• Establishes annual sales budget and meets or surpass yearly budget.
• Reevaluates work on an ongoing basis to increase market share.
• Stays up to date on market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies through available resources.
• Utilizes company leads to expand current customer base and follows up all leads promptly.
• Maintains close contact with Technical Service on new applications that could lead to close cooperation with customers on mutually beneficial and economically feasible products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food science, Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus!
