Job Description

: We are seeking a motivated, self-starting RF Technical Field Sales Representative to operate as an independent contractor supporting business development in the RF, microwave, and millimeter wave space. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in technical sales across military, aerospace, and commercial markets--or a strong technical background with an eagerness to transition into a sales role. As a contractor, you'll have the freedom to manage your schedule while representing a competitive line card of components, subsystems, and systems. You'll play a key role in growing accounts, managing customer relationships, and providing value-driven solutions across your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Develop and execute a sales strategy that includes prospecting, sampling, quoting, follow-up, and closing deals.
• Independently manage all sales activity within the Orange and San Diego County territory.
• Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with customers, both independently and alongside manufacturer principals as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, buyers, and key decision-makers.
• Actively manage your pipeline and document activities in CRM software.
• Cross-sell and promote multiple lines within our product portfolio to existing customers.
• Regularly engage with represented manufacturers, ensuring alignment and shared success.
• Consistently meet or exceed agreed-upon sales goals. Desired Skills and Experience:
• Strong understanding of RF, microwave, or electronic components and systems.
• Proven ability to drive the full sales cycle from lead generation through close.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent technical education preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must pass a background check.
• Willingness to travel 25% - 40% of the time. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
