We are looking for a driven, competitive, self-starter to join our Logistics team. Successful candidates will prove that they can take initiative, pay attention to details and follow through. Responsibilities

:

• Recruit and drive relationships with core and prospective carriers
• Focus and uphold a high level of customer service
• Negotiate contracts with carriers for the best rates possible based on numerous fluctuating factors at any given time
• Control the load cycle which includes: setting appointments, confirming PO#s, directions, dispatching carriers, tracking shipments, carrier follow-up
• Proactive approach to identifying potential disruptions and ability to problem solve in a timely manner; provide advice to management on these issues.
• Focus on customer satisfaction, organizational efficiency while managing transportation costs
• Monitor market fluctuations and communicate strategies with the team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
