We are looking for a driven, competitive, self-starter to join our Logistics team. Successful candidates will prove that they can take initiative, pay attention to details and follow through. Job Responsibilities: * Recruit and drive relationships with core and prospective carriers * Focus and uphold a high level of customer service * Negotiate contracts with carriers for the best rates possible based on numerous fluctuating factors at any given time * Control the load cycle which includes: setting appointments, confirming PO#s, directions, dispatching carriers, tracking shipments, carrier follow-up * Proactive approach to identifying potential disruptions and ability to problem solve in a timely manner; provide advice to management on these issues. * Focus on customer satisfaction, organizational efficiency while managing transportation costs * Monitor market fluctuations and communicate strategies with the team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Gym membership * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Bonus opportunities * Commission pay * Monthly bonus * Uncapped commission Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
