Job Summary: As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will bring your extensive knowledge of Over the Road logistics, including Brokerage, Flat Beds, Dry Vans, FTL, and LTL services, to build new business relationships and further develop existing ones. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will have a critical role in creating growth strategies and driving the acquisition of new business. You will be tasked with maintaining and growing a portfolio of clients through a combination of in-person visits, MS Teams meetings, and proactive cold calling. Key Responsibilities: * Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the logistics industry, focusing on FTL, LTL, Dry Vans, Flat Beds, and Brokerage services. * Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships. * Sales Execution: Achieve sales targets, KPIs, and growth objectives. Conduct in-person client visits, virtual meetings, and cold calls to expand business. * Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Sales and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of services and solutions to clients. * Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to offer valuable insights and solutions to customers. * Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts. Qualifications: * Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in sales and business development within the logistics industry, with strong expertise in Over the Road services, including FTL, LTL, Dry Vans, Flat Beds, and Brokerage. * Sales Success: A solid track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the logistics or transportation industry. * Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with decision-makers and close deals. * Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, be highly organized, and manage multiple priorities effectively. * Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software. * Education: A bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred, but not required. * Travel: Ability to travel locally and regionally for client visits.
