Overview

The Director of Sales - has direct oversight of planning and managing the overall sales and marketing for a historic hotel. The intention is to achieve optimal occupancy, growth in existing accounts, and generating new business, all to maximize total revenue and meet/exceed hotel profit objectives. This role will oversee day-to-day operations of the hotels sales division including, but not limited to , direct sales efforts, follow-up, and proper sales administration and training. This role will ultimately recommend the sales forecast, marketing, advertising, sales plans, programs and annual budget for the property; manages within approved plans and budgets. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities;

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals - Self Motivated - Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with clients - Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize strategies - Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients - Provide exceptional customer service and support to maintain client satisfaction Skills - Proficiency triple seat, Delphi, Opera/ Opera Cloud,Synxis - Demonstrated success in sales, particularly in Hotel/Hospitality sales - Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals - Experience in outside / Inside sales and account management - Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions -Self Starter -High Energy -Responsible for Corporate Sales - Exceptional customer service skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
