Sales Analyst About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Analyst to support our Retail Sales function. In this role, you will guide and administer sales-specific analytics and administrative tasks while providing actionable insights from data analysis. You'll maintain key sales reporting and contribute to trade spending ROI reviews and improvement processes. Reporting to the Vice President of Retail Sales, you will be a crucial support for the field sales team by providing customer insights and maintaining sales databases. Key Responsibilities * Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities * Create and maintain trackers, reports, and dashboards to monitor KPI performance * Present data-driven insights to management with strategic recommendations * Monitor retail industry trends and conduct competitor analysis * Assist in enhancing trade planning and spend through post-promotion analysis * Track internal trade budgets * Assist in the development of pricing strategies based on market research * Manage customer portals and assist with ad hoc customer reporting * Support customer planning and build presentations * Maintain sales databases and effective record keeping of trade spending * Handle basic administrative functions such as completing customer forms, reviewing claims, and supporting team meeting logistics Requirements * Team-first mindset with a positive attitude * Strong team player willing to tackle any task, regardless of size * Ability to work collaboratively with teams and cross-functionally * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills and above-average PowerPoint abilities * Experience with or willingness to learn IRI Syndicated Data and Numerator Panel Data * Strong analytical and storytelling abilities * Excellent communication skills This position offers the opportunity to directly impact our sales strategies while developing expertise in retail analytics and trade spending optimization.
