Comic Con Booth Sales Associate LOCATION: Phoenix Fan Fusion at the Phoenix Convention Center TIME FRAME: Temporary position June 6-8 SALARY: $20 per hour Robin's Nerd Supplies is a primarily online retailer specializing in tabletop game supplies, including dice and other accessories. For the past seven years we have gained a loyal following because of our specialty dice and our impeccable customer service for nerds at all price ranges. We are growing the number of in person conventions that we will be attending and are expanding our team to continue our legacy with in person and online customer support. JOB OVERVIEW: The Comic Con Sales team is our front line for providing great customer service that creates sales for Robin's Nerd Supplies. You will help run trade show booth, restock inventory, and clean up the booth at the end of the day. You have an ability to interact with new people and attract new customers to experience our dice. Who you are: * Solid time management and organizational skills. * Effective communicator both written and verbally with multiple audiences. * Self-motivated, organized and independent worker. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide customer service,demonstrate product, and answer questions * Contact new customers and attract them to the booth * Use point of sales device to check out orders * Support daily set-up, restocking, and tear down of the booth * Transport inventory to the trade show floor to restock the booth * Gather data about customer impressions, and summarize interactions with customers in writing for booth improvements REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to assist with event set-up and tear down as needed * Ability to learn point of sales systems * Lift up to 100 pounds with a dolly or cart * Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts * Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around * Go up and down stairs (where applicable) * Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards Robin's Nerd Supplies is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
