Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and contribute to achieving sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Provide knowledgeable product information and demonstrations to enhance customer understanding.
• Utilize retail math skills to accurately process transactions and manage inventory.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions.
• Maintain a well-organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
• Execute promotional activities and sales strategies to drive store performance.
• Uphold company policies regarding phone etiquette while interacting with customers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
• Experience using POS systems for processing transactions is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise others and lead by example when required.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to enhancing the customer experience.
