Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all old and new store products
• Recognize store stock items and uses to answer and suggest products for customer questions
• and needs.
• Research items that are non-stock and quotes using profitable judgment.
• Be in tune with market changes and bid accordingly.
• Work with other sales departments to enhance all sales for bid jobs.
• Keep in tune with the market to research and suggest new product lines to the Manager.
• Work with outside sales position closely.
• Prepare quotes for your customers and for outside salesman jobs.
• Field calls that come in due to outside sales calls.
• Work with Counter sales as a back-up for phone calls and orders.
• Assist counter sales with product, pricing, and purchasing questions.
• Enter tickets into computer system.
• Assist Area Manager with stock purchase orders.
• Price and quote special order items profitably.
• Enter purchase orders into the system.
• Work with counter sales to contact customers regarding special order items.
• Maintain communications with existing customers.
• Use tools such as phone calls/emails to bring in new customers.
• Communicate with Area Manager regarding larger jobs in the area for customers. INDQT
