Description: The Mountain Ticket Office (MTO) Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional service while completing guest transactions during the Summer operating season. Essential Functions of the Job * Provide general information and assist guests in all selections and transactions of summer activities. * Account for balancing daily transactions to cash receipts. * Assist in the daily operations of the Ticket Office including filing, answering phones, and other duties as assigned. * Handle all incoming lost & found phone inquiries. * Communicate by radio for daily activities and for any emergencies. * Assist guests with Daily Use lockers. * Organize, clean, and maintain individual sales stations and the general sales office. Non-Essential Functions of the Job * Assist with special projects, as needed. * Perform other related duties as required. Requirements: * Strong customer service and verbal communication skills. * Basic sales and/ or cash handling experience. * Knowledge of and experience with computers (Windows). * Knowledge of and experience with general accounting procedures. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of currency. * Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization. * Ability to make sound decisions under stressful situations. * Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately. * Employee is frequently required to stand, balance, walk and reach with hands and arms. * Maintain a professional attitude towards guests and staff. * Ability to pass a background check. * Ability to work mid-May through mid-October. Working Conditions * Majority of time spent in an indoor ticket office environment. * May be exposed to outdoor environment and inclement weather.
