DeJaVu Estate Sales and Auctions is an award-winning luxury consignment gallery and auction house specializing in high-end furniture, estate jewelry, designer fashion, art, and collectibles. We thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are seeking an experienced, motivated professional to join our growing team.

Position Summary

: We are looking for a strong, hands-on Consignment Store and Auction Manager with at least 5 years of industry experience. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of secondary market pricing, thrive in a high-energy environment, and have experience with social media marketing. This role requires someone who is organized, resourceful, and passionate about the resale and auction world.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the consignment gallery and auction preparation
• Evaluate and price incoming consignments based on current market trends and historical sales data
• Oversee intake, cataloging, and merchandising of inventory
• Assist in preparing auction listings, including photography and item descriptions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consignors and buyers
• Develop and implement in-store promotions and online marketing strategies
• Create and schedule engaging social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Lead, train, and supervise a small support team
• Coordinate logistics for pickups, deliveries, and shipping
• Monitor inventory flow and ensure the sales floor and auction catalogs are well-organized and visually appealing

Requirements

:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in consignment, auction house management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of secondary market pricing across a wide range of categories (furniture, art, jewelry, designer goods)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
• Experience with social media marketing (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest)
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and assist with moving merchandise as needed
• A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to providing outstanding customer service
