Auto Parts Sales Associate Clinton Auto Parts, 1125 Clinton St., Buffalo, NY 14206 Pay Rate: $17-$20 per hour Schedule : 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday About Clinton Auto Parts We are a dynamic auto salvage facility committed to repurposing and reselling high-quality automotive parts. Our team values precision, knowledge, and a passion for cars, and we're looking for a customer-focused team member to join us as an Auto Parts Sales Associate.

Job Summary

: The Auto Parts Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional phone- based customer service to individuals inquiring about used auto parts. This role involves listening carefully to identify customer needs, checking inventory in a parts database, providing accurate product information, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, basic automotive knowledge, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Listen to customer inquiries and determine the specific auto part(s) needed.
• Look up and verify part availability using a database system (Pinnacle, Vin Matching Program).
• Provide accurate information about part availability and pricing.
• Communicate clearly about product condition (e.g., wear, damage, mileage), and return policies.
• Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate as needed.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions in the system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of cars, car parts, and automotive systems.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using technology.
• Ability to work independently.
