Business Development Manager Our clients are Indianapolis-based with one being a reputable construction firm and the other an MEP engineering company, both seeking a Business Development Managers to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of Business Development experience preferably in the A/E/C industry. Candidate must be able to demonstrate success in presenting new business opportunities and expanding business relations. Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Will be accountable for functional and budgetary oversight of the Business Development Department.
• Obtain business development intelligence gathering, working with proposal managers and project executives to develop strategies/themes, various written pieces, site visits and project walk-throughs, approaches to interviews.
• Cultivate relationships with architectural firms, engineering firms, developers, economic developers, community leaders, and other public and private entities to generate leads in respective geographic regions.
• Monitor, drive and align departmental strategies to support corporate revenue and profit goals.
• Represent the company at events and networking functions that may or may not fall during general work hours
• Execute business development and marketing plans in line with company goals
• Develop and present quarterly projections.

Requirements

• Must have at least 7 years of Business Development experience in the A/E/C industry
• General knowledge of construction, architecture, and engineering vocabulary, processes and approach.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check and have a valid and good driving record.
• College degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, public communication, marketing is preferred
• Must be able to lead business development for high growth within the A/E/C industry Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
