Long Island's premier luxury mens shop is looking for an experienced sales associate. The ideal candidate is personable, confident, outgoing, computer savvy, has an interest in men's fashion and is driven to succeed. Prior retail, menswear or luxury brand experience is helpful but not necessary. This is an excellent career and growth opportunity for the right individual. Great work environment and compensation (Base + Commission + Benefits) Requirements: * You Must have proven sales experience * Ability to determine what type of garments are desired and advise customers about prevailing styles * Excellent communication skills that will be utilized with retail staff, corporate personnel and customers * Perform other duties such as stocking, merchandising, housekeeping and displays. * Providing the highest Customer Service standards while maintaining a professional demeanor and personal presentation at all times * Utilize company resources to generate clientele and maintain customer contact * Enjoy connecting with customers and demonstrating an enthusiastic and positive attitude * Knowledge and understanding of merchandise features, fitting techniques and fashion trends * Knowledge and understanding of sales operations * Drive to meet and exceed performance expectations Desired Qualifications: In addition, the desired professional we are searching for will: * Interact and communicate with co-workers and managers in a team environment * Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including morning, evening and weekend availability * Knowledge of computer programs * Have a passion for fashion and a drive to succeed Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $75,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off Compensation Package: * Bonus opportunities * Commission pay Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Woodbury, NY 11797: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Luxury Retail Sales: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
