Full description of the position

Industry: HVAC Location: San Mateo or Santa Clara, CA Salary: $150K-$170K(DOE) Position Responsibilities play a key role in ensuring the Division meets Revenue and Profitability goals on time and on budget. This person, reporting to VP of Division Sales Planning, will work as a bridge person between Division Sales team and Corporate HQ to ensure alignment on Corporate and Regional Objectives and Strategies. Position Responsibilities May include to: * Develop Strategic Planning documents such as 'Division Playbook', 'NAMM', other ad-hoc regional strategy reports, and support timely execution of the same. * Proactively conduct comprehensive Business and Data Analysis to uncover strategic opportunities for Business Development and expansion and also Profitability enhancement, to achieve budgeted financial targets. * Drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment between Division Sales, Division Sales Planning and Corporate HQ to achieve Company and Divisional strategic goals. * Support Sales team to develop Division's Customer-wise and Product-wise Revenue-Volume based Budget and Forecast, thereby improving the sales forecast accuracy and elevating the company-wide supply chain efficiencies. * Conduct Budget vs. Actual analysis, identify gaps and collaborate with Sales team to strategize recovery to achieve budget, including Dealer development and other such key strategic initiatives. * Organize regular Division meetings to share business progress. * Visit customers such as Distributors, Dealers, Homeowners, other 3rd party entities as needed to support business activities. * Utilize knowledge of Financial Modeling, Python, Tableau, Microsoft Office, VBA, MS Project, C, SQL, Alteryx, Qualtrics, Six Sigma Lean Methodology, Google Analytics to support Transformative Strategy development through the implementation of Digital Tools which aid in the visualization of mission-critical and highly confidential data. * Collaborate with cross functions teams where there is a need for digital transformation, and focus on automation of data tabulation and visualization tools and innovation at a rapid pace * Support the adoption of Salesforce CRM and other IT system implementations in the Division. * Identify M&A opportunities in line with Business goals, conduct Business Case due-diligence and support deal execution. * Ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and budget reporting with Corporate Sales Planning team. * Perform other tasks as assigned by VP of Division Sales Planning. Nature & Scope * Ensure work is aligned with the VP's expectations, goals, and vision * Regularly conduct reporting/sharing/consultation with VP * Accountable for implementation of policies, processes, and procedures to drive results * Work on difficult to moderately complex issues and projects * Domestic and Overseas travel * Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines Experiences * 3-5 plus years of experience in Data Analysis; * 3-5 years of experience in either Strategic Planning or Project Management roles; * 3-5 years in HVAC industry with understanding of OEM "Go-to-Market" (GTM) strategies a plus but not mandatory To apply, please send resume to [please apply online]
