Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to lead our catering operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in direct sales, account management, and customer service, while also demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering services, from client consultations to event execution, ensuring that every detail meets our high standards. Duties * Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences. * Manage the entire catering process, including menu planning, logistics, and on-site execution. * Conduct direct sales efforts to promote catering services and secure new business opportunities. * Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools for account management and tracking sales activities. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menus that align with client expectations and market trends. * Train and supervise catering staff to ensure high levels of service during events. * Implement upselling strategies to enhance service offerings and increase revenue. * Monitor inventory levels of catering supplies and manage procurement processes as needed. Requirements * Proven experience in catering management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. * Strong skills in direct sales, territory sales, and account management. * Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. * Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software for managing client relationships. * Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members. * A passion for food and beverage trends within the catering market.
