Position Summary: We're looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Representative to join our team on a full-commission basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sales and knowledgeable in lumber and building materials. You'll work with a diverse clientele, including contractors, project managers, and homeowners, to promote and sell our range of products. Your role will be to develop relationships, generate leads, and close sales while providing the highest level of customer service.Key Responsibilities: Identify and prospect new clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals. Build and maintain relationships with clients, becoming their go-to resource for lumber, fencing, decking, flooring, and other building materials. Understand client needs and recommend products that meet their specifications and budget. Negotiate pricing, close sales, and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and competitor offerings. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Qualifications: Previous sales experience, preferably in lumber or building materials, is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of lumber products and applications in construction, fencing, decking, and flooring. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to sales. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
