About us With over 100 years of combined pump experience, Iconic Pump is a small, family owned, manufacturing business in Johnson City, TN. We serve the municipal, mining, industrial, and buildings trades markets, by providing multistage vertical and horizontal pumps for water and wastewater. Executing all aspects of sales and distribution strategies in the Western United States, but not limited to: 1. Locating and communicating with new and existing distributors 2. Becoming a subject matter expert on Iconic Pumps and equipment 3. Projecting sales on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis 4. Assisting and providing pump start-up assistance when necessary 5. Overnight travel as needed - 65% to 75% travel expected 6. Proficient computer operation with Word, Excel, and other job tools EXPECTATIONS 1. Deliver exceptional customer service via personal relationships, integrity, and going the extra mile every day 2. Call on distributors and assist with applications expertise and meeting sales goals 3. Gain trust via knowledge and excellent service 4. Assist with quoting as necessary 5. Provide technical support, distributor training, customer training, and integrity in the application of Iconic Pump 6. Assist distributors in sales growth via joint sales calls, assistance, and stellar customer service 7. Actively maintain CRM database 8. Locate and maintain distribution in each market segment served with Iconic Pumps 9. Overnight travel expected at 65% to 75% 10. Identify new applications for Iconic Pumps and assist distributors in market penetration 11. Work at trade shows and co-op with distributors 12. Participate in professional organizations and constantly peruse professional growth 13. Workday 7:30am till 5:00pm and weekends as needed for trade shows and travel 14. Must possess a valid state driver's license and have an acceptable driving record, acceptable background check, and pass a drug test PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS 1. Recommended Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology/business/marketing 2. Five or more years' experience in rotating equipment and pump applications 3. Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices for start-up procedures 4. Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints 5. Ability to communicate with persons from various technical specialties and backgrounds 6.
