Auto Parts Salesperson Ace Auto Parts is a premier full-service automotive salvage yard in St. Paul's North End district. Ace is a family owned and operated small business. Established in 1929, we continue to be a strong force in the industry as well as the North End Community. Driven to provide dependable, quality automotive parts and services that will fit anyone's budget and needs. Schedule: 40 hours / week. M-F Business hours: M-F 8:00-5:00 Job Summary: Assist customers in house and over the phone with their automotive parts needs Duties & Responsibilities: * Achieve individual and team sales goals and quotas * Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies. * Follows company culture * Completes required documentation * Follows all safety standards, to include wearing appropriate safety gear * Keeps work area clean and organized * Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings / seminars when applicable Qualifications: Min 3 years sales experience, with preferred 2 years automotive experience High School Diploma or equivalent * Possesses intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new computer programs * Hollander (IMS - computer program) experience preferred * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point preferred * Strong decision making ability * Demonstrated critical thinking ability * Highly reliable and dependable * Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and escalate when appropriate * General knowledge of vehicles and parts beneficial * Follows instructions, responds to direction, and solicits feedback on personal performance * Demonstrates people skills and ability to work as a team player * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to multi-task while managing time efficiently in a high stress, fast pace environment.
