Job Title: Account Manager Location: Hilliard, OH (In-person) Job Type: 40-60 hours/ week, Monday-Friday Pay rate: $80K-$100K first-year (base + commission), then $80K-$100K base + uncapped commission Company Overview: Technical Maintenance Inc. (TMI) operates a nationwide network of 13 full- service Calibration Laboratories and more than two dozen Onsite Technical Services (OTS) Programs with resident calibration personnel at customer locations. Established in 1991, TMI has built a reputation for delivering comprehensive calibration support to government and commercial markets. Our company specializes in customized asset management and accredited calibration services, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and full traceability to the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST). As we continue expanding--adding more locations in 2025--we are building a best-in-class sales and marketing team to drive demand Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Territory Account Manager to drive sales and manage client relationships across Ohio, Michigan, Eastern Indiana, Kentucky, and Western Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate is self-driven, competitive, and organized, with strong territory and time management skills. While a background in technical sales or metrology is preferred, we are also open to candidates with a calibration or quality background who are looking to transition into sales. This role offers significant growth potential and strong earning opportunities. Responsibilities: Account & Territory Strategy * Develop and execute an effective time and territory management plan. * Identify new business opportunities using Sales Intelligence Software and through industry networking. * Conduct 12-15 in-person customer meetings per week to assess calibration needs and present TMI's solutions. * Maintain relationships with key contacts across quality, calibration, purchasing, and accounting departments within customer organizations. * Collaborate with the local Branch Manager to build quotes and respond to RFPs. Sales & Business Development * Drive sales of test & measurement calibration and repair services. * Promote and expand product distribution sales to new and existing customers. * Retain and grow existing customer business by identifying additional services TMI can offer. * Analyze customer markets and competitor activities to develop and execute a winning sales strategy. Operational & Reporting Responsibilities * Provide monthly sales reports and maintain accurate records in CRM. * Manage sales pipeline activities and ensure smooth customer onboarding. * Travel approximately 70% within the assigned territory, including overnight stays. Requirements and Skills: * Technical Sales or Calibration background required. * Must be willing to travel throughout your territory most weeks. * Proven track record in B2B sales or business development, preferably in a manufacturing services environment. * Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/lead development tools. * Familiarity with the calibration industry and competitor offerings is a plus. * Ability to manage multiple accounts and articulate operational requirements for smooth client onboarding.
