Full description of the position

An Annuity Wholesaler's primary responsibilities are: (1) to acquire new annuity writing agents to ECA through warm and cold calling initiatives, and (2) to increase premium production of newly recruited agents.

• Sell, introduce and position fixed annuities and insurance products.
• Recruit and contract new agents, brokers and advisors.
• Inbound and outbound sales calls to brokers/advisors via the phone.
• Introduce a wide variety of products and services from over 50 carriers
• Introduce agents to selling programs, sales software, seminar systems, etc.
• Maintain and build relationships with insurance agents and financial advisors
• Assist in designing sales campaigns and marketing strategies.
• Engage in other related sales activities, such as creating sales ideas, cross-selling, communicating product/service updates, prospecting calls, etc.
• Maintain and update agent information in computer database.
• Maintain a follow-up system for recruits and producers in which agents are continuously marketed to with new carriers, products, and sales ideas.
• Work in a self-directed fashion.

Qualifications

:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writing.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to sell over the phone.
• Demonstrate high level of teamwork abilities; including both leadership and following direction.
• Knowledge of product design and suitability regarding fixed annuities, including indexed annuities.
• Successful track record working with outside organizations to achieve and exceed their sales goals.
• Develops sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment.
• Can create, implement and follow through on a marketing plan.
• Manage priorities with minimal guidance
• Capable of building and maintaining relationships.
• Capable negotiator.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft programs; including Word, Excel and Outlook. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 per year
