Director Of Business Development About Us: Leading multidisciplinary design and engineering firm specializing in Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, and Surveying services. Position Summary: Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director to drive growth, expand market presence, and strengthen client relationships. This leadership role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across all service lines. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the public and private sectors. * Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and government agencies. * Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and presentations to potential clients. * Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with company capabilities and market demands. * Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities. * Represent company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. * Oversee the preparation of marketing materials and client communications. * Track and report on key business development metrics and performance indicators. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). * 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. * Proven track record of securing new business and driving revenue growth. * Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. * Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. * Experience with proposal writing, contract negotiation, and business strategy development. Knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and competitive landscape. * Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Experience: * Business development: 7 years (Preferred) * Construction Industry: 7 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
