Our work environment includes: * Growth opportunities * Company perks * Lively atmosphere * Safe work environment Director of Sales & Marketing position details: We are looking for a dynamic Sales Leader for 2 Hilton Hotels - Hampton Inn Middleburg and Holiday Inn Express Fleming Island. As a key member of the property leadership team, the Hotel Director of Sales is accountable for the revenue generation of the hotel. Reporting to the General Manager and Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing. The Director of Sales will seek to gain optimal occupancy, and growth in existing accounts, generate new accounts and maximize total revenue to meet or exceed the business goals. The Hotel Director of Sales is responsible for maintaining the highest level of ethical leadership to lead the property to achieve its business goals. Ideal candidates will deliver full-service hotel sales experience, superior leadership skills, strong financial acumen, experience in catering/F&B, and outstanding communication skills. Responsibilities: * Responsible for the overall sales and revenue of the property: This includes Group Business, Bus Tours and LNR's. * Responsible for signing up for all Local Marketing Advertisement & Digital Marketing [please apply online] Google, OTA Photos, etc.) Advertisement. * Proactively conduct outside sales calls, conduct sales tours, and engaging with clients. * Understand the content reflected in contracts and how to negotiate terms therein. * Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure the ability to predict revenue opportunities. * Train Front Desk team on recognizing and capitalizing on all sales opportunities. * Develop full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel, including Sales, Food and Beverage, and Front Office. * Maintain strong visibility in the local community and industry organizations. * Attending revenue management and sales strategy calls with property and regional team. * Responsible for maintaining compliance and remaining up to date on new sales initiatives for the brand and company. * Actively involved in analyzing the STR report, Weekly and Monthly. * Act as the face of the property by being involved in the community. * Maintain all sales documentation and sales procedures in Delphi & PMS * Support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations * Meet with key account reps from Expedia, Booking.com and other OTAs. * Respond to requests for proposals from local tourism bureaus or other lead channels. * Update key account information and activities/goals in Delphi. * Prospect to set appointments for Property Tours, showing hotel around and selling. * Review daily reports generated by Night Audit to assess which corporate account is in-house. * Proactive sales efforts on new and existing accounts * Greet all assigned in-house meetings. * Set-up/maintain group block on group/function schedules. * Communicate with hotel team to assist in sales efforts & keep them informed of groups & key clients. * Attend sales training as recommended by your General Manager and Corporate Director of Sales * Develop, create, and implement innovative Sales and Marketing techniques. * Complete projects as determined by the General Manager or Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing * Support the Front Desk & operations team when needed. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * Associates/bachelor's degree preferred. * 2 years' minimum experience as a hotel Sales Manager or Director of Sales * Previous hotel management experience within other discipline. * Experience working with major brands. * Quick learner of new Technology and systems. * The ability to make revenue management decisions to effectively grow market share. * Must be proficient in general computer knowledge with a large emphasis on Microsoft Office, and Google Suite * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Organize your own activities to make the best use of your time and efforts. * Be available on nights, weekends and holidays.
