Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining product displays, processing transactions, and promoting sales in our retail environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.
• Promote sales by effectively communicating product features and benefits to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
