S&L Window and Door, Installed Division is seeking a highly motivated home design professional who is interested in focusing on selling windows and doors to residential customers including home owners. The ideal candidate will be a friendly face with excellent taste in home design and a willingness to learn products. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with additional overtime on Saturday's as required by customer needs. Flexibility in work schedule is essential; ability to work overtime during peak is required. This position is an hourly base rate of $18 - $20 per hour plus a monthly commission. Job Purpose: The sale of residential windows/doors and installation services Scope of Responsibilities: * Greet and assist customers with product selection for home design * Offer, prepare and present accurate window & door product and installation quotes * Process customer orders, track deliveries and ensure timely delivery and installation scheduling * Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. * Stay current on available products * Help maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing showroom Minimum Education Requirement: None Knowledge, Skill, Training, Licenses, Experience and/or Abilities: * Experience with in-home sales and home design preferred * Previous experience in window and door sales, a plus * Must possess strong customer service mentality; position requires the ability to sell to home owners * Understanding of basic sales techniques, concepts and the ability to persuade and influence * Must have strong communication skills including verbal and written * Ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain detailed records * Must be willing to stay current on all products through ongoing training and education * Proficiency with Windows PC and Microsoft Office Suite * Must possess a strong willingness to learn Equipment/Software/Technology used: * Regular use of Windows PC * Regular use of Microsoft Office Suite * Regular use of Epicor BisTrack ERP * Regular use of Ring Central * Regular use of vendor software Essential physical and mental functions: * This position requires the ability to freely move around a showroom setting, customer's home, etc. * Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner * Must be flexible in work schedule, flexibility during peak periods is essential * Availability to work overtime and Saturdays as required Working Conditions: * Indoor, temperature-controlled setting Safety Requirements: All employees are expected to adhere to the safety regulations set forth by OSHA and company policies. This may include, but is not limited to; eye protection in plants, hardhats outdoors, seat belts worn in all company vehicles, limited cell phone use and regular safety training. Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties as needed.
