Position Description: Six Floors Down is an established Commercial and Residential Flooring Company in the Columbus, Ohio area, and we are seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Account Manager to join our growing team. The Commercial Account Manager will develop and maintain relationships with commercial accounts including developers, general contractors, facility managers, and building owners. Commercial Account Managers will respond to bid invitations, prepare material takeoffs, prepare and submit bids and estimates, and manage their portfolio of active projects by working with client project managers and estimators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the scope of work of a project, and estimate product and labor quantities required for the project. The candidate will have excellent attention to detail, and have knowledge of reading blueprints. Some physical measurements, job meetings, and site visits may be required. The successful candidate will have previous experience using estimating programs such as Measure Square, Bluebeam, Callidus, or other similar software. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of experience in commercial flooring sales. Experience with Microsoft Office. An independent worker who is self-motivated, detail oriented, dependable, and requires little supervision. Ability to calculate area measurements, profit margin, sales prices, and other basic math skills. Compensation: Base Pay plus generous Commission. Base pay is commensurate with experience. Candidates with current commercial flooring sales experience will certainly be in a position to earn more at Six Floors Down than with any other flooring company.
