Description: Company Overview The journey for a patient with a brain tumor is deeply emotional. Newly diagnosed patients often arrive at the emergency department due to changes in vision, balance, or cognitive function. Their world is quickly turned upside down as they race towards surgery. Unfortunately, many patients (~50% for glioblastomas) experience recurrence within a few months and, along with their dedicated family members and clinicians, must navigate treatment options once again. It has been over a decade since an innovative treatment option was cleared by the FDA--until GammaTile Therapy! GT Medical Technologies exists to provide a better option for these patients, caregivers, and clinicians. We are now seeking Territory Managers for the San Francisco, Seattle, Houston, Denver, Kansas City, Nashville, DC/Richmond VA, and New York territories to add to our growing sales team. Position Summary The Territory Manager will be the key individual responsible for growing GammaTile adoption and utilization within the defined territory. This individual will be responsible for coordinating all the sales functions with other field personnel, Area Directors, VP of Sales and Marketing, Chief Technology Officer, Medical Physicists, and Clinical Applications Specialists. The individual will coordinate with operations, marketing, regulatory, and other departments to facilitate growth and expansion in the territory. Requiring a high level and hands-on resource, this position leverages sales excellence, leadership/mentoring skills, obstacle negotiations, and process development. Job Responsibilities * Exceed top line revenue goals and other key performance indicators that align with corporate objectives. * Expert at presenting GammaTile features, benefits, value analysis, and history of the organization during in-person sales consultations, hospital visits, workshops, tradeshows and to identified stakeholders. * Responsible for selecting and accelerating new sales opportunities while profiling the "best fit" individuals to champion the adoption and utilization processes, including but not limited to, Neurosurgeons, Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, and Administrators responsible for contracting and vendor approval. * Develop accurate sales forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. * Responsible for identification of activities to develop and drive sales process within territory. * Demonstrate high level of proficiency, and mentorship, in gaining clinical support, education on the product, and approval processes through professional sales skills, economic evaluation/analysis, and objection handling to close business. * Leverage sales tools and best practices to present to stakeholders while increasing sales productivity and successfully close sales opportunities. * Utilize the CRM for account planning, leads, and opportunities, while nurturing pipeline and providing reliable business intelligence to GT Medical Technologies. * Submit all necessary paperwork, including travel itineraries, trip reports, activity reports, monthly reports expense, and service reports accurately and in a timely manner. * Establish communication schedule with Area Director to exchange information on daily/weekly activities. * Protect the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and other sensitive data * Embodies the Company's purpose and shared values, building a positive and productive team culture. * Comply with Company policies and procedures. * Authorized to access employee and/or patient PHI and ePHI only as needed for job-related functions. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements: * BS/BA degree in marketing or business studies from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in the medical device industry. * Experience in the neurosurgery or radiation oncology space highly preferred. * Ability to create and manage key internal and external partnerships. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * High level of attention to detail. * Demonstrate proficiency in issue resolution. * Ability to multi-task and work with little direction. * Ability to manage multiple priorities. * Self-starter, highly organized; works well with all functional levels in the organization. * High level of business management and facilitation skills. * Capability to resolve complex problems with minimal confusion and inconveniences for all parties. * Extensive experience in managing complex and lengthy sales cycles with physicians and surgeons. * Ability to effectively present information to management, business partners and customers. * Strong market analysis, strategic planning, leadership, and teambuilding skills. * Action-oriented; proven ability to build a team; self-development; problem solving. * Customer/patient focused; ability to constructively engage, collaborate, demonstrate consistency, act compliantly, show creativity, and add value. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proficient in using Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). * Willingness to work a flexible schedule. * Able to travel for work as needed. * Satisfactorily pass comprehensive background screening. * Satisfactorily pass comprehensive drug screening if required for credentialing. Physical Demands/Working Conditions * Works in a variety of environments (office, home, hotel, events, hospital, operating room). * Frequent travel using a variety of transportation methods for work, meetings, events, trainings, etc. * Occasional to frequent overnight travel depending up on territory needs. * Combination of a stationary role with frequent movement from place to place. * Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor and other office/sales equipment. * Frequently picks up, carries, and moves items up to 50 lbs. * Occasional exposure to hazardous materials requiring appropriate PPE and precautions when working with hazardous materials and chemicals. * Occasional evening and weekend work.
