Marine Retail Sales We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate with a passion for the outdoor lifestyle. A boating enthusiast with a friendly and positive disposition, and a genuine interest in the boating and marine industry is a plus. Job Description: The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter, possess a friendly personality and be passionate about the boating lifestyle. Sales Associates must have the sales experience and ability to help each customer leave our store with the products and information they need to enjoy their time on the water. Knowledge of boats, fishing, boat towing and boat handling is a plus but not required. Candidate must be honest, reliable, detail oriented, self- motivated and able to take direction. Essential Duties: Ensure the customer experience is pleasant and productive Exceed sales and productivity goals Inventory control Ensure excellent customer service Maintained the sales floor cleanliness and appearance Work well in a team setting Take directions and correction with a positive attitude Qualifications: * Boat enthusiast with a friendly and positive disposition * Working knowledge of boat parts, boat maintenance and boat systems * Excellent communication skills, well-spoken, well-organized, with excellent customer relations skills * Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with a sales team Job Type: Full-time Experience: * Customer Service : 1 year (Preferred) * Boating: 1 year (Preferred) * Marine Retail Sales: 1 year (Preferred) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off Shift: * Day shift Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
