Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers in selecting products, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall success of our retail operations. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos. * Utilize retail math to manage transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register. * Operate the POS system for processing sales and returns. * Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and accessible. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales volume. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers effectively. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing. * Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently. * A proactive approach to upselling and promoting products to enhance customer satisfaction. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed for stocking purposes.
