This role is pivotal in driving sales of custom engineering services and solutions tailored to meet unique client applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical sales, an ability to build strong client relationships, and a deep understanding of engineering processes and services. Key Responsibilities: * Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue within the assigned territory. * Client Acquisition and Retention: Identify and engage with prospective clients, build relationships, and maintain long-term partnerships to drive repeat business. * Technical Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs, and provide tailored engineering service solutions. * Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, stay ahead of industry trends, and monitor competitor activities. * Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed proposals, including cost estimates and timelines, in collaboration with the SMEs and inside sales. * Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, address objections, and successfully close deals. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project management, and customer support teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. * Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed sales targets, monitor key performance indicators, and prepare regular sales reports for management. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; technical background preferred. * Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in engineering services or technical solutions. * Strong understanding of custom applications and engineering processes. * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Proven ability to manage and grow a sales territory. * Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills. * Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. * Travel will include daily travel to various locations throughout the day, with nightly return to home.
