Job Opportunity: Regional Sales Director - Connecticut Location: Connecticut Position: Regional Sales Director Experience Required: 8+ years in Sales Management Travel: 50%+ United Abrasives, a leading manufacturer in the abrasives industry, is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Regional Sales Director. This position is based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing headquarters in Connecticut and provides a fantastic platform to make a direct impact on our growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management and the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage territories and regional managers reporting into you, ensuring each team aligns with the company's sales goals and objectives. * Report directly to the Director of Sales, providing insights, updates, and strategies to support the broader sales organization. * Assist in planning, forecasting, and monitoring sales activities * Oversee the development and execution of regional sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company goals. * Lead, mentor, and support sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets. * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Travel approximately 50% + of the time to meet with clients, attend industry events, and mentor the sales team to drive sales. Qualifications: * At least 8 years of proven experience in sales management with a track record of increasing responsibility, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sectors. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide sales teams. * Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to analyze sales performance and make data-driven decisions. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. * SalesForce experience a plus. * Ability to travel up to 50+% of the time.
