Drainage Solutions, Inc. Job Description TITLE : Warehouse/ Yard Associate DEPARTMENT : Operations LOCATION: ALL BRANCHES REPORTS TO : Branch Manager -Franklin, Greenfield & Leesburg Distribution Manager - Lebanon FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt EMPLOYMENT STATUS : Full - time Position Summary: Loading and unloading of pipe, valves, fittings, geotextiles, geogrids, erosion control and drainage products. Other primary duties include maintaining a clean and organized yard. Essential Functions: Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Loading and unloading deliveries. * Stock shelves with inventory, pulling and staging orders and loading customer's vehicles. * Maintaining the yard work and assisting in keeping the warehouse clean and organized. * Assist in inventory counts and controls. * Perform other work related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) * High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. * Minimum 21 years of age. * Ability to operate a forklift. * Previous driving experience. * Have a Chauffer's License with a clean driving record and DOT Medical Card. * Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen. * Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs or more. * Possess the ability to load and unload deliveries without assistance. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as pick sheets. * The skill and ability to speak effectively with customers, listen to their needs, and help lead them to a solution. * Must possess proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format. * Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material. * Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task prioritize and meet deadlines.
