As an Events Manager, you are an important leader on our Management Team. You fully understand and embody the Business's family values. You will teach and personally be an example of what it means to deliver exciting customer service to Guest and Staff! Your ability to build relationships, create sales opportunities, and tackle guest experience challenges is key to the Business's success. Duties Include but Not Limited To: - Managing day-to-day operations to include but not limited to: Events Operations, Safety, Admin Duties, Logistical Functions, Event Sales, CRM, and act as Manager on Duty. * Hiring, Training, & Scheduling for 15+ Employees. * Events Point of Sale, Event Staffing, and further development of Event Programs & Pricing Strategies * Guest Service, Creating Policies & Procedures focused on Events and creating the best guest experience possible. * Create High Volume Sales opportunities * Guest Retention * Responsible for Start & End of shift procedures directly related to Events. * Develop and retain guest portfolio (CRM) * Meet budget goals and report monthly sales activity * Responsible for all aspects of the Events Department related to the building, safety, staff, & guests. - Initiative is mandatory and ability to identify and create solutions in a timely manner for all day-to-day operations. - Holding employees accountable and motivating them to accomplish the necessary duties that make the Business successful. - Develop and maintain new and current Event Programs to include Youth Groups, Team Events, Fundraising, Business Outings, etc. - Develop seasonal and annual Events/ Packages according to season and market trends to include Birthday Parties, Holiday Parties, League Events, Full Facility Rentals, etc. - Generate monthly and quarterly sales activity according to budget goals. - Drive new sales opportunities - Create an environment welcoming guest feedback to sustain retention and improve department performance. - Other responsibilities delegated by the General Manager and Director of Sales. Example of (but not limited to) Work Week: - Organizing and review of party bookings, staff assignment, and adjusting shifts as needed. - Scheduling/ Coordinating staff for all parties and events. - Communicate with Events staff and assign tasks. - Communicate with all customers and POS communication to include pre/post Event communication. - Management of all Groups, Fundraisers, Parties, and Event programs. - Insight & development of program opportunities, improvement, and guest feedback to maintain a 5 star experience prior to, during, and post Event. - Awareness of local businesses and like kind venue operations and promotions. Requirements: - Has a minimum of 3 years Events experience in a Supervisor Role. (Sales experience a plus) - Must enjoy working with kids, teenagers, college students, and adults. - Proven ability to lead and motivate a team and drive culture to create results. - Entrepreneurial mindset, positive attitude, & trustworthy. - Calm & confident while holding self and employees to a high standard. - Excellent mentor to employees. - Previous experience in a customer-facing environment. - Experience with employee team scheduling software. - Ability to solve problems under pressure while maintaining a fun, friendly environment. - Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. - Ability to perform duties with no supervision and have outstanding problem solving/ conflict resolution skills. - Must be able to stay on task and complete all tasks efficiently and in a timely manner, not only for self but the team. - Team Player with good communication skills. - Professional appearance and demeanor. - Proven ability to self-direct and work independently. - Must be detail oriented. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and Point of Sales. (Experience in Roller a plus). - Willingness to uphold company standards for safety, customer service and efficiency. - Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. - Ability to pass a background check. Education: - 3 Years Experience in Events, the Family Entertainment Industry, or the equivalent.
