We aim to transform backyards into beautiful, functional, and inspiring environments. - Applicants*must be located in the Greater Dayton Area - Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Greater Dayton Area. The primary focus of this role is to drive sales revenue, expand our customer base, and increase profitability for all HPC product lines in the Mid-west states. This involves developing and managing dealers. Key Responsibilities: * Sales Strategy & Execution: * Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet and exceed company objectives. * Analyze market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and identify new business opportunities. * Develop and implement innovative sales techniques and tactics. * Client Relationship Management: * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. * Understand client needs and provide tailored sales solutions. * Address client issues and queries promptly and effectively. * Travel & Customer Engagement: * Conduct weekly sales trips within the territory from Tuesday to Thursday. * Attend HPC Office on Monday and Friday for in-office activities. * Participate in additional travel and weekend activities as required for tradeshows and special events. * Performance Metrics: * Conduct customer sales calls and prospect calls while in the office. * Meet monthly / annual sales goals for new customers and existing customers. * Complete one HPC University training class per week and set up training and education centers monthly. * Administrative & Reporting: * Submit expense reports and weekly sales reporting. * Assist in formulating long-range goals and coordinate with management on sales plans and budgets. * Collaborate with marketing to support tradeshows, digital strategy, and advertising efforts. * Product Development & Branding: * Provide input on new product development and market strategies. * Ensure the HPC brand is perceived as a premium product and maintain brand consistency in collaboration with Marketing and Product Development. * Special Projects: * Support the company's Lean initiatives and participate in Lean projects. * Assist management with special projects as needed. Qualifications: * Education & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience. * Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the hearth, building products, hardscape, landscape, or fireplace markets. * Skills & Abilities: * Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, both written and oral. * Goal-oriented, high-energy, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to project management. * Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across organizational lines. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making effective, fact-based decisions. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Project) is a plus.
