In search of a motivated individual to process customer orders and help grow and support our Inside Sales in Minnetonka, MN. Our business is heavily dependent upon customer relationships and this role is pivotal in the communication between our customers and our sales team. To be successful in this role, the individual must be organized and have a strong emphasis on always serving the customer. This position is critical to after-market sales and long-term customer satisfaction. We are a small family owned business that has been serving the Midwest for 27 years. We cover the territory of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Our primary focus is selling industrial equipment to the woodworking industry. Inside Sales job description includes but is not limited to: * Processing of Purchase Orders and Sales Orders * Quoting small equipment, tooling, and parts: includes logging of documents, saving documents, managing the sale, and creating physical quote folders. * Package and ship stock orders, must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. * Keep database of vendor and customer contact's information current. * Support outside sales people with their orders, quotes, and project organization. * Learn and occasionally perform other order processing functions. * Perform yearly and quarterly inventory. * Maintain inventory levels on stock equipment and tooling. * Help maintain and improve company website. * Manage used equipment inventory and sales. * Ability to drive a forklift, not required but appreciated. * Manage physical and digital vendor catalogs and information for the sales team to use. * Manage, organize, and maintain the warehouse and toolroom. * Must have a valid drivers license and ability to visit customers with the intent of selling tooling and parts. * Must have the ability to travel periodically. * Mechanical ability to work on and clean machinery is desired, but not required. * Make local tooling and small machinery sales calls. * This is a 40 hour per week salaried position. Office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm. * Future career growth opportunity to train and transfer to outside sales.
