Full description of the position
Job Description: Valley Office Equipment, Inc. is seeking an energetic and organized individual to join our sales team. This position is primarily responsible for directing, coordinating and administering the equipment sales activities utilizing all available resources to provide the best customer care possible. Ideal candidates will need to provide the leadership and necessary guidance to create an atmosphere conducive to increasing sales revenue. Sales representatives are responsible for managing new and existing accounts and conducting sale presentations, making sales calls and meeting sales objectives within an assigned sales territory. Employment Type: Full-time Benefits: Medical, paid vacation and retirement once accrued. Salary: $36,000 base starting salary, plus commission. (First year average annual income is $70,000 - $80,000) Responsibilities: Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers. Prospect, contact and build relationships with potential customers within an assigned territory. Address customer inquiries and resolve challenges. Set follow-up appointments to maintain customer relationships and awareness. Develop solution proposals and present them to prospects and customers. Manage a frequent engagement strategy within your sales territory. Achieve sales targets and deadlines. Qualifications: Ability to build rapport with clients. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Must be comfortable with deadlines and be detailed oriented. Pay: $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
