Job Summary: The Transportation Sales Manager at FreezPak Logistics is responsible for driving revenue growth through transportation service sales and fostering long-term partnerships with new and existing clients. This role will focus on developing and implementing strategies to expand FreezPak's transportation services, optimize customer satisfaction, and lead a high-performance sales team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of logistics, cold storage, and transportation solutions, with a proven track record of success in sales and business development. Key Responsibilities: * Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets for transportation services. * Business Development: Identify, target, and develop new transportation business opportunities through networking, client outreach, and relationship building. * Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and identifying opportunities for expansion. * Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a sales team, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment. * Contract Negotiation: Oversee the negotiation of contracts with clients, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with company goals. * Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies as needed. * Collaboration: Work closely with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of transportation services. * Sales Reporting: Monitor sales performance, create reports on key metrics, and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership. * Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and service quality improvements. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * 7+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on transportation or logistics services. * Proven experience in cold chain logistics, transportation sales, or freight forwarding. * Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring and developing sales teams. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. * Analytical mindset with the ability to create and present data-driven sales strategies. * Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software. * Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in the cold storage industry.
