The position of Regional Sales Manager is our face to the world, and as such a successful candidate will need to be consciously aware of his/her obligation to represent Enercon Engineering always in the best way possible. As our product offerings are technical & customized, we are looking for either engineers with superior communication skills, or self-educated technical individuals with a passion to provide help. Our whole orientation is one of partnership and taking care of the client's concerns. We are currently seeking initiative-taking sales leaders to join our team. Education and Experience * High school diploma or GED certification, required * Engineering degree preferred * Switchgear and controls expertise required * Ideally 3-5 years of field sales or related work experience * Knowledge of the Sales Process Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Have met and/or exceeded sales and activity expectations * Capacity to listen actively to customer's concerns and communicate them both verbally and in writing. * Willing and able to travel regularly, up to 30-50% * Valid driver's license and clean DMV record * Proven project management experience * Expert level with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point * Experience using CRM software Position Demands Physical Demands (essential functions) * Travel * Walking * Driving Work Environment * Office * Travel Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Growing top-line profitable sales! * Preparing territory sales plans, sales reports, and activity plans * Prospecting for new accounts and expanding existing accounts. * Qualifying prospects, assessing customer needs, and presenting proposals * Maintaining and developing customer relationships at all levels * Calling on generator OEMs and Dealers, Consulting Engineers, Electrical Contractors, and End User accounts * Being an advocate for the customer, while holding Enercon's concerns to produce WIN-WIN outcomes. * Participating in industry related trade shows and events * Developing and executing a knowledge/education plan specifically designed to improve your capability to service your customer base.
