Full description of the position

This is a full-time position with the opportunity to play a significant support role in the closing of both residential and commercial real estate transactions, while handling most of the administrative duties associated with running a busy real estate office.

Responsibilities

include:

• Manage incoming phone calls and visitors
• Open all new files for upcoming closings and order title searches. Gather owner's policies as needed from seller or other title agencies
• Learn parts of underwriting and closing processes so you can grow into other roles in the office
• Review, save, and provide title searches for typing
• Update and maintain active insurance policies for affiliated contractors.
• Coordinate all incoming and outgoing US and Overnight mail and deliveries
• Order Mortgage Payoffs and Ohio Attorney General payoffs for state tax and other judgments
• Ensure all necessary documentation is saved within the database before final policies
• Complete necessary title updates for construction loans
• Order office supplies
• Assist in-house attorneys and staff with other tasks as necessary Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour
