We are looking to hire a new optical staff member for a part-time/full-time position in Rancho Cucamonga, California.This is an amazing opportunity for hard-working individuals looking for engaging work in a professional environment. Bilingual and knowledge of Officemate a plus! Primary Duties: * Performing and training new contact lens wearers on the process if insertion and removal of contact lenses. * Strong backround in Sales. * Measurements of single vision, bifocal and progressive lenses. * Knowledge of manual lensometer. * Ability to communicate with and properly handling patients that are unhappy with the products, patient care, or experience provided at the office. * Proper phone etiquette in all situations. * Verifying insurances: VSP, MES, EYEMED, DAVIS, IEHP. * Submitting insurance claims and verifying that the billing and coding of each exam was done correctly. * Ordering patient products including frames, lenses, contact lenses, sunglasses, and more. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Ability to Relocate: * Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
