Medical Application Repair & Sales (MARS) is a trusted service provider supporting ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and healthcare facilities throughout South Carolina and Georgia. We specialize in the repair, maintenance, and installation of surgical sterilizers, steam boilers, and mission-critical sterile processing equipment. As we continue to grow, we are hiring a Sterilizer & Boiler Field Service Technician with experience servicing steam sterilizers, autoclaves, and small boiler systems -- especially those from Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer, and Primus (via Spire Integrated Solutions) -- in ASC and surgical environments. Key Responsibilities * Service, repair, and calibrate steam sterilizers, autoclaves, and small boiler systems * Equipment includes units from Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer, and Primus/Spire Integrated Solutions * Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency repairs in OR and SPD environments * Troubleshoot issues across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems * Work closely with facility managers, sterile processing teams, and OR staff * Maintain detailed service logs and compliance with regulatory standards * Ensure all work meets NFPA, ASME, AAMI, and manufacturer specifications * Build strong client relationships through responsive, professional support Qualifications * 2+ years of field service experience working with sterilizers/autoclaves or other medical/surgical equipment * Strong hands-on experience with: * Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer, and Primus (Spire Integrated Solutions) sterilizers and steam systems * Knowledge of low-voltage electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems * Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and OEM service manuals * Experience working in ASC, hospital, or sterile processing environments * Valid driver's license and regional travel availability * Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred (Not Required) * OEM certifications from Steris, Getinge, Tuttnauer, or Spire/Primus * Background with: * Steam generators, washer-disinfectors, or ultrasonic cleaners * Facility boiler systems or surgical support equipment * Military or facilities mechanical/electrical experience a plus What We Offer * Competitive pay based on experience and technical expertise * Company vehicle, tools, uniforms, phone/tablet included * Health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and vehicle/travel support * Supportive, skilled team with decades of industry experience * Opportunities to advance and grow as we scale our ASC coverage Industry Keywords: Sterilizer Repair, Primus, Spire Integrated Solutions, Tuttnauer, Field Service Technician, ASC, SPD, Autoclave, Steam Equipment, Steris, Getinge, Boiler Repair, Medical Equipment Technician
