Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical sales and account management, with a proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies in the technology sector. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to negotiate effectively with clients. Responsibilities * Responsible for frontline communication with Transit Authorities, Mass Transit Equipment OEMs, Tier 1 Manufacturers, Maintenance & Refurbishment Contractors and Commercial Customers o Document and maintain product lifecycle plans for Transit Authorities including new procurement and major refurbishment activities o Identify, develop and negotiate sales opportunities o Pro-actively establish requirements for inclusion on bid lists & any pre- approval requirements o Manage the preparation and submission of contract proposals o Manage customer relationship & communication * Identify and pursue growth opportunities o Product extensions with current customer base o New customers utilizing current product portfolio o Diversification opportunities * Lead development of business cases for opportunities identified o Identify the company's value proposition for the specific opportunity o Identify barriers to entry o Identify competitors along with their strengths and weaknesses o Establish the size, duration & growth associated with opportunities identified * Develop relationships with industry insiders, influencers, key decisions makers & integration partners * Establish communication plan & schedule for all current & potential customers * Ability to Travel as required o Visits to customer sites o Trade Shows o Industry Conventions * Represent the company at networking functions, speaking engagements and other industry-related events Requirements * Ability to clearly communicate through verbal and written methods * Knowledge and proven record of successful business negotiations * Ability to mine data to identify and develop sales opportunities and growth target. * Clear and frequent communication with other team members and management * Disciplined self-starter with 2-5 years of technical sales experience Join our team as a Sales Manager where you can make an impact by driving growth, fostering client relationships, and leading a passionate sales team!
