The Hirshfield's Baxter/Brainerd MN Location is now looking to fill a Full Time Sales / Paint Tint Room Technician Position for our Paint Department This position is available for hours: Monday thru Friday: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Rotating Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm We offer a 35% match on your 401k contributions (up to 12%) Full Time only: 2 weeks PTO in the first year, 3 weeks starting in your second year - great health and dental benefits Essential Functions * Able to see color * Able to lift/move up to 60lbs on occasion * Support the sales efforts at Hirshfield's Paint Store, servicing mostly wholesale customers * Ensuring that all sales orders are completely accurate by maintaining precise accounts for formula and pricing, pulling correct products from warehouse, tinting and mixing those to customers specifications * Explaining to customers the best products for their needs * Recommending related products to increase customers' options and enrich the shopping experience * Explaining the benefits and functions of products, method of preparation and how to use them to achieve the best results * Accepting and processing orders, operate the POS register and resolve returns issues * Promoting special sales, offers and awareness of store loyalty program Your hourly rate of pay will be based on your experience Qualifications * Strong background in retail sales and customer service * Proficient in stocking, cash handling, and basic math * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Experience in a grocery store setting is a plus * Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.
