We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience, helping customers find the right products, and driving sales through effective upselling techniques.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos and effective communication.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while ensuring a smooth checkout process.
• Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and easily accessible to customers.
• Utilize basic math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and transactions.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations.
• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to achieve individual sales goals.
