As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for: * Selling residential solar solutions directly to homeowners. * Recruiting, training, and leading a team of field managers and sales closers. * Managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and hitting regional sales goals. * Creating a positive, high-performance culture within your team. * Working closely with leadership to grow your market territory. This role combines leadership, sales excellence, and strategic recruiting -- and rewards top performers with outstanding earning potential. Key Responsibilities * Recruit, interview, and onboard top-performing field managers and closers. * Personally close solar deals while mentoring your team to do the same. * Train and motivate your team through in-person and virtual meetings. * Manage your team's daily activities, setting clear expectations and KPIs. * Represent Direct Solar Co. with integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm. * Leverage our CRM tools to track leads, deals, and team performance. Qualifications * 2+ years in direct sales (solar, roofing, home improvement, pest control, or related industries preferred). * 1+ year of leadership, recruiting, or management experience strongly preferred. * Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. * Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills. * Highly driven, entrepreneurial mindset. * Reliable transportation and ability to work in-field.
