Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while ensuring smooth operations at the register. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases. * Operate the cash register and process transactions efficiently using POS systems.(PassPort & NVR ) * Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. * Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions and product offerings to effectively sell items. * Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. * Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and payment methods. * Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Skills * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. * Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for shoppers. * Sales skills to promote products and encourage purchases. * Proficiency in operating POS systems for processing transactions smoothly. * Good phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary. * Experience with cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. * Retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. * Ability to stock shelves efficiently while maintaining an organized workspace.
