We at Liquorland are looking for an enthusiastic Partner to join our team. LIQUOR Knowledge is REQUIRED and WINE Knowledge is PREFERRED. Ideally, you have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. Specific Responsibilities: * Exemplify our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees * Greet customers when entering or leaving the store * Manage Various transactions with customers using cash registers, including scanning goods, ensuring pricing is accurate, collecting payments * Checking ID by enforcing all liquor and tobacco laws; following all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security. * Cross-sell products and introduce new ones * Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information * Maintaining the physical clean and tidy checkout areas * Arranges and rotates all merchandise on shelves and inside the main cooler * Stocks coolers/freezers (e.g. Beer, Soda, etc) and sets up displays (e.g. price tags/signage). * Stocking may involve lifting/carrying merchandise that weighs up to 50 pounds. * Ensures all pricing, signage, and display information is correct at all times in-store. * Regular store maintenance such as Sanitizing, Cleaning, Sweeping, and Moping as needed. Job Requirements: * Must be at least 21 years of age * LIQUOR Knowledge is REQUIRED and WINE Knowledge is PREFERRED. * Must be able to work in a fast past environment and be comfortable with multi-tasking. * Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology * The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. * Flexible and variable hours * Will need a TABC license within a week of start date Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Shift: * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift Work Location: In person
