Does your dream job have you selling beer? Waterman Brewing Company , Elk Grove's largest production brewery, is looking for a Territory Sales Representative for the greater East Bay area. This position brings our award winning beers in cans and kegs to Bay area bars, restaurants, taprooms, gas stations, convenience stores, and liquor stores, and establishes Waterman Brewing as a top craft brand. Essential Function and Responsibilities: Be an avid Waterman Brewing ambassador, embodying our mission, vision and values at all times and be passionate about Craft Beer. * Direct beer sales to on and off premises accounts. * Work closely with our Brewmaster and production team to develop monthly and annual sales forecast * Develop and execute an expanding market strategy. * Execute an effective sales plan that will maximize revenue and increase sales. * Build and execute monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. * Develop proposals and programs for current and prospective customers to secure new distribution and grow sales. * Partner with respective marketing team members to develop and execute marketing activities. * Keep abreast of current craft beer market trends. Communicate information and recommendations to senior management that will help develop our brand, grow sales and increase distribution. * Attend weekly sales meetings to review sales data, inventory, trends, and production. * Represent Waterman Brewing Company at tap take-overs, brewfests, trade association, and Guild meetings to promote the company. * Submit budget expenditures related to sales and growth efforts. Skills and Qualifications: * 1+ years of beer or wine sales experience * Knowledge of distributor operations * A high level of professionalism with natural leadership skills * Working knowledge of MS Excel * Ability to analyze large volume of sales data from a variety of sources to develop robust sales strategy * Ability to interface with various levels of management * Valid driver's license with active auto insurance is required * Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals * Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak intelligently about craft beer to prospective decision makers * Full knowledge of company policies, products, packaging and pricing * Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities * Must be in control and limit personal alcohol consumption at all times Compensation: This is a 30% commission pay structure.
