Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our store, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience. Duties * Operate the cash register and process customer transactions efficiently and accurately. * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. * Utilize retail math skills to handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accurate change is given. * Conduct product demos as needed to enhance customer engagement and promote sales. * Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure product availability. * Upsell products by effectively communicating promotions and special offers to customers. * Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and surrounding areas. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Qualifications * Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred. * Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers is an advantage. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively. * Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction handling. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to customer service and sales. * Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays.
